Black Butterfly Ammunition, .450 Bushmaster, 160 gr, FLAT BASE RAPTOR “SCREAMER”
This round is recommended for hunting and self defense purposes. This Flat Base Raptor™ was designed specifically for the 450 Bushmaster. Instead of mushrooming, these hollow points are designed so that after 1-2″ of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a start pattern while the base continues on for even deeper penetration. This load is screaming fast and deadly accurate. This round employs a heavy dual crimp for use in AR platforms. This helps to reduce the bullet jump 450 Bushmaster taper crimps are known for when cycled in ARs. This round will also function bolt action rifles.
This round has been tested been independently tested in the following rifles and has achieved accuracy of 1″ at 100 yards:
1. Standard 450 Bushmaster AR15 Upper (Shot 1″ at 100, 2″ at 150 and 2.5″ at 200 yards)
2. Ruger American Bolt Action (Shot 1″ at 100)
3. Performance Firearms AR15 Upper (Shot 1″ at 100)
4. Tuebor Precision .450 Bushmaster Bolt Action (Shot 1″ at 100 and 2.5″ at 300 yards)
